To celebrate the return MFDF, a number of Corn Exchange restaurants in Manchester have also created exclusive menus, available from 29th September to 10th October, offering up to four courses for just £15.
At Salvi’s you can enjoy 2 courses for just £15 on 3rd, 4th and 5th October, and at Tampopo there is a two courses for £15 menu available throughout the festival.
You can indulge in the delights of Brasilian barbecue at Cabana with dishes such as Guava-cue Barbecue Chicken with French fries and Rio beans, or Salt Cod Fritters with lime mayo – a Sao Paulo favourite. Make sure you leave space for the decadent Amazon Chocolate Cake. (The Pre-Theatre Menu is also available at Cabana, prices start at £15 for two courses.)
Experience the hustle and bustle of Indian street food markets with Mowgli’s exotic and flavoursome menu. Why not try the Bombay Chip Butty? An unusual twist on the British classic – a grenadel Roti wrap filled with fenugreek kissed turmeric fries and an abundance of spices. Follow this up with a comforting Mother Butter Chicken Curry, or discover how Indian chefs tang their potatoes; tossed in tomato and the haunting Bengali Five Spice, all for just £15.( Express Menu at Mowgli is available between 5-7pm and allows guests to choose one Street Chat dish, followed by any two curries and rice, all for £15.)

Visit Gino D’Campo My Restaurant from lunch until early evening and enjoy a Mediterranean feast of King Prawn Bruschetta with chilli mayonnaise, followed by a classic, stone baked Diavoletto with buffalo mozzarella, tomato, grilled peppers, red onion and chilli. If you can manage it, finish off a decadent evening with a luxurious Tiramisu. Team a glass of chilled wine or a beer with any main for just £10 at Pho throughout the festival . Take a culinary trip through the unique flavours of Vietnam with Bún Vermicelli noodles topped with a wok-fried lemongrass and chilli topping, fresh herbs, beansprouts & peanuts.
Fancy something that packs a bit more punch? Try Byron’s new Clucky Balboa Chicken Burger with a glass of wine, or a beer for only £12.
